    New era of diplomacy as UAE President welcomes foreign ambassadors

    In a significant diplomatic event, UAE’s President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, accompanied by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, formally received the credentials of several new foreign ambassadors. This pivotal ceremony took place at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

    During this event, the President warmly welcomed these diplomatic representatives, highlighting his optimism for strengthening the bonds and collaboration between their nations and the United Arab Emirates. Assuring them of UAE’s unwavering support, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the country’s dedication to amplifying international partnerships, thus enhancing global prosperity and development.

    The roster of newly accredited ambassadors included representatives from a diverse array of nations: Jamal Muhammad Al Ghunaim from Kuwait, Omar Freiteh from Algeria, Ahmed Fadhel bin Shamseddin from Malaysia, Christophe Zakhia El-Kassis from the Holy See, Oumer Hussein Oba from Ethiopia, Edward Hobart from the UK, Rebeca Sharona Perez Cervantes from Panama, Julio Belarmino Gomes Maiato from Angola, Luis Miguel Merlano Hoyos from Colombia, Reza Amiri from Iran, Gerard Paul Marie Hubert Steeghs from the Netherlands, Kedallah Younous Hamidi Elhadj Mamadi from Chad, Yacoub Hassan Mohamed from Tanzania, Arthur Mattli from Switzerland, Bojan Jokic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and John Mirenge from Rwanda.

    These ambassadors extended their nation’s greetings and expressed collective hopes for the enduring growth and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, present at this ceremonial event were dignitaries including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State.
